Loose Cannon Sponsor Adds Two New Tequilas
A Straight-Ahead Blanco and Another That Is Habanero Infused
Loose Cannon’s only sponsor, a boutique Tequila brand named Bellagave, has launched two new flavors.
Actually, one is just a straight ahead “blanco.” That is, not infused with any flavor.
The other new bottle is quite the opposite—Habanero, “for a flaming agave experience.” Habanero chilis are among the hotest, rated 100,000–350,000 on the Scoville scale.
These two join Bellagave’s first two products—Coconut and Mango-Jalapeño.
All Bellagave tequilas are made from 100 percent blue agave. They are 80 proof and the product of “double pot still distallation.”
Double pot still distillation in tequila is a traditional, artisanal method in which fermented agave liquid (mosto) is heated twice in large copper or stainless steel pots (alembics) to purify and concentrate alcohol, creating distinct “heads” and flavorful “hearts.”
